How it works
Three steps to captions
Add captions from speech
One press in Text › Captions. The first time, Edivo asks, then downloads its speech model once.
Pick a style
Choose a caption look. Spoken word colour lights up each word as it's said.
Check and export
Fix words and timing in Edit captions. Export them in the picture, or as an .srt file.
What you get
Captions you can trust and fix
Words to check
Edivo marks the words the speech model wasn't sure about, so you know where to look.
Heard on your computer
The speech is turned into text on this computer. Your footage isn't sent anywhere for it.
Bring your own file
Already have captions? Import an .srt or .vtt file instead.
Many clips at once
Clean up adds captions to every selected clip in one go, and can remove the pauses too.
Good to know
Before you post
- Check them. Captions can mishear words, names and accents.
- One step back. Every caption change is one Undo step.
- Free. Captions will need no account and no plan.
