Install
- Download the installer from edivo.ai/download.
- Open it from your Downloads folder.
- Wait while it installs. Edivo adds itself to the Start menu and opens.
The first start
- A start-up screen shows the Edivo mark and its name while Edivo gets ready.
- Welcome to Edivo asks once: "By continuing you agree to the Terms and have read the Privacy notice." The two links open in your browser.
- Press Continue. The Start screen opens.
No account is needed for this. Edivo asks again only after a change to the terms that matters.
| Admin rights | Not needed. It installs for your Windows user only |
|---|---|
| Program folder | %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Edivo |
| Projects and settings | Kept apart from the program, see Where your projects are saved |
| First start | Takes longer while Windows checks the new files. Later starts are faster |

- Choose More info.
- Check that the publisher is Edivo.

- Your projects and settings are kept.
- To check yourself: Settings › Updates › Check now.
Installed from the Microsoft Store? Windows updates Edivo for you, and Settings › Updates says Updated by the Microsoft Store.
Remove
- Open Windows Settings › Apps › Installed apps.
- Find Edivo and choose Uninstall.
Your projects and settings are kept unless you choose to delete them.
5 more details

- Signed in with an account that already accepted the current terms? Edivo doesn't ask again.
- A Mac version is planned; there is no date yet.
- Edivo is a Windows desktop app. Linux and ChromeOS are not planned.
