Paused
- The card says The AI is paused. Nothing more happens until you resume.
- Type a note to steer it, if you like.
- Press Resume. Your note goes with it.
Not resumed in time? It stops by itself and keeps what it made as a draft. The card shows the time.
Stopped
- What it made so far is kept as a draft: look at it, then Apply changes or Discard. See Review and undo AI changes.
- Stopped before it changed anything: "Stopped. Nothing in your project changed."
- Credits it used are not given back. The rest of the request's limit returns to your balance.

- A message you send while it stops goes out as soon as it has stopped.
- An edit that reaches its credit limit pauses by itself: raise the limit to continue, or Stop and keep the draft. See Credits and spending.
- A pause you asked for stops by itself after an hour (the card shows the time).
- A run an AI app (Claude and others) started has the same one Pause on its card and one Stop by the message box. To end the app's session, use Disconnect in the bar's ⋯ menu. See Use Edivo from AI apps.
