- The AI looks at what the request needs and makes a plan.
- It applies the plan to your project: it picks and orders shots, cuts, adds captions, titles and music, and sets the format.
- It lists every change, with what it did and why.

- It runs on general-purpose AI models from Anthropic (the Claude models) or OpenAI (the GPT models), used through our server, with instructions and checks written by Edivo. Edivo chooses the provider for each quality mode.
- It can pick the wrong moment, cut a word in half, mistime a cut to the music or misread a shot. Captions can mishear words, names and accents.
- It does not know facts about the people or places in your footage, and it can sound sure about things that are not true. Check your video before you publish it.
- It works in English; other languages may work less well.
- It works only in the countries and regions our AI providers support. Elsewhere the app says "Edivo’s AI isn’t available in your country yet", and AI plans and credits can't be bought there. The editor stays free everywhere. See the privacy notice.
- The AI editor edits your own footage, so the exported video carries no AI label of its own.
- It can have images, voice-overs and music made by other companies' AI models, only when you allow it. They are labelled AI-made in your library and on the timeline, and a file you export with them says so in its metadata. See Content rules.
- If you publish AI-made or AI-changed images, sound or video of real people, places or events that could be taken for real, say so. That is your responsibility. See Content rules.
- Something went wrong? Undo the change. Press Report this AI result under the result if the AI did something harmful or very wrong (nothing is sent until you press Send report), or tell hello@edivo.ai.
