After an AI edit
The chat shows a result card with the list of changes.
| Button | Does |
|---|---|
| Show | Selects what changed, in the preview and on the timeline |
| Undo (on a change) | Undoes just that change. Put back or Redo brings it back |
| Undo all | Undoes every change of this request |
| Looks right | Clears the flag on a spot you checked |
| Keep as is | Keeps the AI's changes (they are already applied) |
| Open History | Opens the saved versions |
Spots marked "to check"
- Press the N to check label. It selects the first spot.
- Look at it in the preview.
- If it is fine, choose Looks right. If not, Try another crop or Ask the AI to fix it, or fix it by hand.
Asking the AI to fix a spot is a small AI request, about 1 credit.
The AI's self-check
Under the list of changes, one folded line says how the AI judged its own draft, for example AI self-check: 1 to look at, 2 good, 1 not checked.
- Press it to open the list. What to look at comes first, marked with an eye.
- Items marked measured were checked by Edivo itself, not only by the AI.
- Each item can have a Suggested fix. Fix it by hand, or ask the AI in the chat.
It is the AI's own reading, not a guarantee: still watch the video.
Compare with before
Hold \ (or the Before button) to see the video as it was before the AI edit.
Drafts you review before they apply
Some edits wait for you instead of applying at once: an edit you stopped, one that paused at your credit limit, or one that comes from an AI app.
| Button | Does |
|---|---|
| Preview · nothing applied yet | Shows what it would change |
| Apply changes or Apply as it is | Applies it and saves a new version |
| Discard | Throws it away. Nothing in your project changes |
If you edit the video in the meantime, review the draft again first.
8 more details
- Undo all takes off everything the AI did in that request. If you edited the same parts afterwards, Edivo warns that Undo all would undo your work too.
- Credits are not returned when you undo. The credits were spent on the work.
- A request that failed through a fault on our side gets its credits back automatically.
- Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z also undo and redo AI changes, one step at a time.
- History lists AI requests, This session and Saved versions. Restoring a version can itself be undone.
- Deleting the chat messages leaves your video and every AI change in place; History still has them.
- The self-check line also shows on a draft you review before it applies. Older AI edits have none. The last line says why the AI stopped correcting itself, for example "Stopped: its last correction didn't help."
- To pause or stop an AI edit while it works, see Pause, steer or stop the AI.
