The 60-second timer
- When the AI asks something, a small ring counts down: "No answer? I'll decide in 45 s".
- Start typing or click in the card: the timer pauses while you answer.
- Press Wait for me to turn it off for that question: "No timer. I'll wait for you."
- No answer at zero: the card says what the AI did.
| What waits | At zero |
|---|---|
| A question | The AI picks what fits your request best and says what it chose |
| A plan to check | It goes ahead only if it fits Your limit per edit and needs no paid step. Otherwise it waits |
| A paid step (it costs more credits) | Skipped. Nothing is spent on it |
Don't ask again
On a paid step, the link under the two buttons reads, for example, Make it, and don't ask again below N credits a video. On a request that asks before it starts, it reads Start, and don't ask again below ….
- It makes this step (or starts the request) now.
- It sets Your limit per edit (Settings › Plan and credits, Ask me first when an edit needs more than) so later steps up to that amount start without asking.
- A message says what it set, with Undo. It never goes above your plan's limit per edit.
Notifications
While Edivo is in the background, a notification tells you when:
| Notification | Means |
|---|---|
| Your draft is ready | Open it to review the changes |
| Edivo has a question | The AI is waiting for your answer |
| Your plan is ready to check | The AI is waiting for your OK |
| Edivo needs your OK | The next step costs more credits |
| Your AI edit is paused | It reached its credit limit |
| Your AI edit stopped | Open it to see why |
Click a notification to jump back to that edit. A soft chime plays with it.

3 more details
- Notifications show only when the Edivo window is not in front, once per event.
- Windows' own settings can hold them back: with Do not disturb on, Windows keeps them in its notification centre instead of showing them.
- To pause or stop an AI edit yourself, see Pause, steer or stop the AI.
