Steps
- Select a video clip that has sound.
- Press More in the clip's toolbar, or right-click the clip.
- Choose Separate sound. The picture goes quiet and its sound gets its own lane.
- Trim, move, fade or change the volume of the sound by itself.
- Selected its Clip sound instead? Separate sound is right in that toolbar.

- The sound keeps its volume, fades and mix. Ctrl+Z puts it back in one step.
- A locked clip cannot be separated: unlock it first.
- Separate sound moves the whole sound. Splitting a voice from the music under it is not available in Edivo yet.
